2026 Farizon V7E electric commercial van coming to Australia

New Chinese electric van confirmed with payload and cargo figures similar to ICE rivals

Geely’s Farizon Auto has announced the V7E electric commercial van for the Australian market, expanding its local range with a compact urban-focused model aimed at couriers, small businesses and fleet operators.

Full specifications and pricing – which is likely to be competitive – will be released in April 2026 ahead of deliveries from May.

The Farizon V7E will join the brand’s Australian commercial vehicle line-up through local distributor Jameel Motors Australia.

The V7E is a compact electric van similar in size to the VW Caddy and Renault Kangoo, which are priced between $40K and $46K.

The local importer says the Farizon V7E is designed for urban delivery and trade use, with the brand highlighting the payload and cargo capacity, which is comparable to entry-level internal combustion vans.

Payload capacity is listed at 1338kg, while cargo volume measures 6.95 cubic metres. It has a 3200mm wheelbase.

The van features a low rear loading height and a compact exterior footprint intended to suit frequent stops, tight access areas and metropolitan delivery routes.

A narrow body and tight turning circle are also part of the deal, designed to support urban environs.

Power comes from a fully electric drivetrain with a claimed driving range of up to 330km.

The V7E uses a CATL lithium-ion (LFP) battery, selected for durability and regular daily charging.

The vehicle has been developed with stop-start driving cycles in mind rather than long-distance use.

Safety, comfort and connectivity features will align with those offered on the larger Farizon SuperVan (SV) range, including driver assistance systems and smartphone connectivity.

Full equipment details are yet to be confirmed for Australia.

Jameel Motors Australia country manager Adam Lawson said the V7E has been developed to meet existing commercial vehicle requirements while offering an electric alternative.

“The V7E delivers the payload and usability businesses expect from a light commercial vehicle, while offering the potential for lower ongoing costs,” Lawson said.

The local launch of Geely Farizon coincides with parent Geely’s arrival in Australia with the Geely EX5 SUV.

The two new brands will join fellow Geely-owned Lotus, Polestar, Smart, Volvo and Zeekr in Australia.

Farizon is set to release full specifications, variant information and pricing for the V7E in April 2026.

The electric van is scheduled to arrive in Australia from May 2026, with expressions of interest now open through the Farizon Australia website.
