Mercedes-Benz Trucks has extended its offer of 500,00 km free scheduled servicing for the Actros.
Customers who buy a new Actros truck before June 30 will enjoy free scheduled servicing for half a million kilometres or five years, whichever comes first. Mercedes-Benz says it offers its customers a range of service and maintenance plans for its trucks and this offer is for the Best Basic service plan, which includes the scheduled servicing work for the truck as specified by the maintenance manual or on-board computer system. All the work is carried out by factory-trained technicians at authorised dealers and only genuine Mercedes-Benz parts and lubricants are used. Mercedes-Benz Truck and Bus director, Michael May, says the complimentary scheduled service offer is one of many reasons that choosing the Actros makes good business sense: "The Actros already represented great value, but this offer drives down running costs even further," Mr May says. "With such a generous service offer, we are making the Actros business case even stronger." Mercedes-Benz Trucks senior manager, Andrew Assimo, says it made sense to make the free scheduled servicing offer available for more customers.
"Customers can see the value of the program and also the benefits of having the servicing carried out by trained Mercedes-Benz staff using genuine parts and materials," he said. The complimentary scheduled service offer is available until June 30 and applies to 4x2 and 6x2 Actros prime movers, including Actros 1844, Actros 2644, Actros 2646, Actros 2655 and Actros 2660.
Full terms, conditions and exclusions of the Best Basic Service Plan are available from dealers.
