The big occasion was to mark the celebration of Hino Australia’s 80th Anniversary, and the Hino Roadshow came to town and arrived with a fleet of trucks to celebrate along with Adtrans.
Adtrans Hino said the team was proud to host one of the legs of the Roadshow tour, and over the two days customers were invited to head into the dealership to view the Hino range.
The day’s activities ranged from a series of presentations from Hino Australia experts, talking about Hybrids, Hino product updates and Hino-Connect, the total business solution designed to reduce costs, optimise driver and vehicle performance, improve safety and help make informed decisions.
Also there was the Hino Sports Deck, with its recent upgrade of an upper deck to allow panoramic views, encompassing 40ft floor space and towed by a Hino 700 series, of course.
Visitors and customers were able to roam the Adtrans Hino yard and really get a feel for the trucks while having a personal tour guide and expertise on hand, and of course enjoy the opportunity to take some of the trucks for a test drive, including the all-new Hino 700 series.
The day was a truly rare event with access to the Hino range, a great opportunity for Adtrans staff to meet some of the locals, give them an opportunity to experience The Hino Advantage.
The weather worked out well, turning on beautiful blue skies throughout the two days, with the exception of a few scattered storm clouds toward the end of day one, providing a beautiful backdrop for the truck range.
Adtrans said they were exceptionally happy with the outcome of the event, being able to provide access for customers to a range of Hino products and Hino experts, as well as an appearance from Hino Ambassador Neil Crompton.
“We’d like to thank everyone for making this event a reality,” said Mark Reynolds DP of Adtrans. “All our staff and vendors who worked behind the scenes to ensure the logistics went smoothly.
“Thank you to all our vendors for ensuing our customers were well fed, had coffee and drinks on hand throughout the day and thank you to our customers and visitors for sharing the day with us,” Mr Reynolds concluded.
