All-new Deliver 9 cab chassis and bus

LDV says that despite restricted supply and in only in its third full month on sale, the Deliver 9 has already shaken up the large van market, outselling more established brands such as the Renault Master and Volkswagen Crafter (VFacts, Jan 2021 YTD), so the arrival of the bus and cab chassis variants should further broaden its appeal.

The Deliver 9 Bus has everything needed to move people. Available in mid- and long-wheelbase, with mid- or high-roof versions, there are 11- or 14-seat configurations (including driver) available.

Safety features include Bosch electronic stability control, autonomous emergency braking, lane departure warning and cruise control.

Six airbags in the front row, including curtain airbags, and three-point seat belts throughout keep the driver and passengers protected. Separate rear air conditioning allows passengers to sit back and enjoy the ride, while entry and exit are made easy thanks to the wide central aisle, sliding side door and an electric retractable side step.

Inside, an eight-way adjustable driver’s seat ensures the optimum seating position, while the 4.2-inch LCD display puts important vehicle information at your fingertips; handy steering wheel controls command the 10-inch infotainment system which has Apple CarPlay and Bluetooth connectivity.

The bus and cab chassis are powered by a 2.0-litre, single-scroll turbo-diesel engine rated at 110kW and 375Nm of torque mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Deliver 9 cab chassis adds a six-speed manual option.

With a 2.4 tonne payload and braked towing capacity of 2.8 tonnes, the Deliver 9 Cab Chassis is ready to deliver when you are. Its sturdy ladder frame, 3760mm wheelbase, 2094mm width and dual rear wheels for better load carrying ability means it has the ideal base for custom body solutions to suit your lifestyle or business requirements.
