Officially launched to the public at the Brisbane Truck Show in May, Isuzu Trucks’ all-new MY25 range spanning the N Series, F Series and FX Series have gone on sale nationwide as of July 1.
Isuzu’s dealerships of over 70 across the country have taken delivery of select models from the MY25 line-up, including the NQR light-duty models, new six-cylinder variants in the FV medium-duty range, and the revamped FX heavy-duty lineup.
The MY25 rollout follows Isuzu’s most ambitious product campaign to date, involving a nationwide marketing blitz, intensive dealer training and launch events across the country.
“Putting together a full model changeover of this magnitude is unprecedented in our industry,” said Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) Director and COO, Andrew Harbison.
“There’s somewhere in the vicinity of 120 model variants across the new range and together with our dealer partners, we’re super excited to get this excellent new product in the hands of our customers.”
He said this first rollout is part of a staged release, with more to follow throughout the year.
Leading the charge is the NQR range, offering a Gross Vehicle Mass between 8000 kg and 8800 kg. Powered by the 4HK1-TCH engine, the NQR produces up to 140kW (190hp) and comes with either a six-speed manual or automated manual transmission.
All N Series engines are Australian Design Rule (ADR) 80-04 compliant and feature a combined DPD and SCR system along with Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) to reduce nitrogen oxide emission.
A standout feature of the new N Series is its enhanced safety technology. Fitted with Isuzu’s latest Advanced Driver Assistance System suite and a second-generation stereo camera system, the NQR now includes up to 15 active and passive safety features.
Medium-duty customers now have access to several new six-cylinder F Series models, including FVR/D, FVL, and FVZ/Y variants. Powered by Isuzu’s DB6A engine family, the F Series offers outputs from 191kW to 221kW and torque up to 981Nm, depending on model.
The models also benefit from upgraded Allison automatic transmissions and a comprehensive safety suite that includes Advanced Emergency Braking, Adaptive Cruise Control and Lane Keep Assist with Dynamic Steering.
Isuzu’s heavy-duty FX range has also landed in dealerships, featuring eight new model options with GVMs up to 26,000 kg. Each truck is powered by the 6UZ1-TCC engine delivering 259kW and 1437Nm of torque that meets stringent Euro VI emissions standards.
The FX Series also introduces a bold new design with Bi-LED headlights, aerodynamic grilles, keyless entry, daytime running lamps and a revamped interior featuring a standard heated and ventilated climate seat.
