ATA announces keynote speakers for Trucking Australia

Momentum builds for Trucking Australia 2023 as Catherine King and Bridget McKenzie are announced as keynote speakers

Trucking Australia 23 is shaping up to be once again a big event on the Australian trucking and transport calendar, with Federal Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government, Catherine King, confirmed as a keynote speaker.

Opposition Infrastructure, Transport and Regional Development spokeswoman, Bridget McKenzie, will also give a keynote address.

Australian Trucking Association Chair, David Smith, says it’s exciting news.

“Catherine King and Bridget McKenzie are some of the key decision makers for our industry in parliament, so we’re delighted that both have agreed to speak at TA23,” said Mr Smith.

“This is a pivotal moment for trucking. We’ve had just about every challenge imaginable thrown at us in the last few years and there are big changes coming down the road. Now is the time when decisions must be made to ensure a safe, productive and sustainable future for the trucking industry.

“There’s a real sense of momentum building about this conference; we will have industry and political heavy hitters in the same room at this key moment when the decisions are being made which will shape our future,” Mr Smith concluded.
