Show and Shine competition brings bling to ITTES

This week will see what is set to be one of the largest Show and Shine competitions the International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show has ever seen.

Promising some of the country’s most impressive customised trucks, Show Director, Simon Coburn, said he has been working hard to make the Show and Shine the richest event of its type in ITTES history, with the massive prize pool reaching over $30,000 in cash and prizes.

Equipment to be won includes a SAF-Holland aluminium fifth wheel plus fitting, Silverback Chrome Exhaust Stacks from Windsor Exhaust Centre, two Apollo Steer Tyres from Treadcare, and two Chrome Aluminium wheel and Drive tyre packages from Mesh# Accessories and Atlas Tyres.

Also up for grabs are a pair of Hella 350mm LED Light Bars from lighting specialist Hella Australia.

Australian Custom Trucks publisher, Chris Smith, said the Show and Shine competition will be a major drawcard for the truck-loving public, who are invited to explore the Show on Saturday, May 7.

"Custom trucks come in all shapes and sizes, but one thing they all have in common is they excite the next generation of transport workers. In that sense, it’s a great advertisement for the transport and logistics industry in general," Smith said.
