BMG Kenworth DAF Mt Gambier claims DAF title

The South Australian dealership was recently named as DAF Dealer of the Year 2018

BMG Kenworth DAF Mt Gambier was recently announced as the 2018 DAF Dealer of the Year, the award handed down at the annual PACCAR dealer event in Queenstown, New Zealand.

Andrew Hadjikakou, Managing Director PACCAR Australia, presented the Dealer of the Year trophy to BMG Kenworth DAF Mt Gambier Dealer Principal, Jim Cornolo.

Based on the dealer's performance across all areas of their DAF business, the DAF Dealer of the Year award acknowledges excellence in customer support in a high performing business. BMG Kenworth DAF Mt Gambier is no stranger to the title, having also claimed the accolade in 2014.

The Mt Gambier dealership was also presented with the 2018 PACCAR Financial Dealer of the Year award in Queenstown.

The Barry Many Group has been in operation for more than 40 years and employs over 100 staff across its various franchises.

Aside from its main facility at 199 Jubilee Highway West, Mount Gambier, the dealership operates several service and parts outlets via authorised partner companies.

Mr Hadjikakou said the dealership is a consistent high performer, with a culture that focuses on quality customer service.

"2018 was a big year for PACCAR Australia with the first locally produced DAF CF85 rolling off the line at our Bayswater facility in August," he said.

Mr Cornolo said the award was a group effort and that the team had worked hard throughout the year to secure the title.
