BP winners are grinners

Some lucky Qld residents have won a new VW Amarok ute, thanks to a recent BP promotion held across regional Australia

Queenslanders Rob and Yvette McKay of Mount Perry and Frank and Margaret Peidl of Goondiwindi got more than they bargained for when they entered BP's 'Heavy Duty Beauty' promotion recently, when their entries were drawn from thousands to each win a new Volkswagen Amarok ute valued at $36,000.

The promotion underlined BP's commitment to rural and regional Australia, says the fuel giant, and in addition to the utes saw $100 BP gift vouchers go up for grabs over each day of the campaign.

The winners were recently presented with their new utes, with BP Regional Bundaberg Depot Manager Fred Bradley presenting the keys to Mr and Mrs Mckay, and BP National Distribution Business Manager Leigh Cameron and BP Distributor Business Manager Ben Finkelstein presenting to the keys to Mr and Mrs Peidl at Campbell Fuel Services Goondiwindi, with station manager Lex Bell also in attendance.

Mr Cameron thanked the winners and everyone else who entered the competition for their participation.

"We congratulate the McKay and the Peidl families and wish them safe driving from everyone here at BP," he said.

"The Heavy Duty Beauty promotion was a great success and thanks to all our distributors for their efforts and overwhelming support in driving this campaign."
