Bridgestone continues to add sustainable commercial tyre hubs with the official opening of the new Bridgestone Service Centre Barossa.
Officially opened on January 31 by Bridgestone Australia and New Zealand Managing Director, Andrew Moffatt, Bridgestone Service Centre Barossa was developed with a focus on environmentally friendly features as well as meeting the demands of the fast-moving trucking industry.
Located on the Old Sturt Highway in Nuriootpa, the Bridgestone Service Centre is one of the few outlets in the greater Barossa region to boast full B-double drive through bays to assure ease of access for all customers, and incorporates sustainable features such as a solar panel array, energy efficient lighting, recycled rubber flooring.
“Bridgestone is committed to minimising its footprint on the environment while also ensuring our customers receive the best service and products. Our new Service Centre in the Barossa highlights the efforts we go to in achieving this,” Mr Moffatt said.
The Barossa store is the second commercial outlet Bridgestone has launched under its new ‘green-truck’ focus after the opening of Bridgestone Service Centre Hume in the ACT last year, with a store in Western Australia also due to be finished this year.
The store is located at 17-19 Old Sturt Highway, Nurioopta and offers the full range of Bridgestone’s truck and bus radial tyres.
