MaxiTRANS brand AZMEB will be featuring its new HVST (High Volume Side Tipper) trailer at the upcoming Brisbane Truck Show, which takes place in the Queensland capital in mid-May.
Purpose built for the transportation of high-volume, low-density products, AZMEB says the trailer is perfect for waste, woodchips and more.
According to Craig Wallace, Tippers General Manager at parent company MaxiTRANS, the AZMEB HVST has an innovative design that delivers major benefits.
"The lower tub is complemented by a hinged upper body, giving it the volume and appearance of two tubs on one tipper that it is known for," he says.
"Due to the low density of the products it is designed to carry, the HVST is able to almost double the height of a conventional tipper, allowing companies to transport large volumes of product without having to switch to a walking-floor style trailer.
"The tub of the AZMEB HVST is typically constructed of 450 grade wear plate steel and the upper body of aluminium. Volume can reach up to 85 cubic metres per single trailer or 120 cubic metres per B-double, and it can unload up to 10 times faster than most walking floor trailers."
Available in rigid body, lead, tag, B-double and road train configurations, AZMEB says that while the HSVT is ideal for low-density products when loaded to capacity, it can just as easily handle high-density products like sand and gravel simply by only loading the lower half of the two-part body.
"This makes it a multi-purpose, high utilisation unit," says Mr Wallace.
The AZMEB HVST will form part of a waste industry focus for the MaxiTRANS tipper brands at the Brisbane Truck Show, which will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre over May 14-17.
The AZMEB display will be located in the main exhibition hall on stand number 41.
