BTS: Toyota HiLux Rugged X up for grabs

The 2019 Brisbane Truck Show is just around the corner, and if you didn't already have enough reason to visit the biggest event on our trucking calendar, you now have one more: the chance to win a brand new Toyota HiLux Rugged X ute!

Everyone who buys a ticket to the show, which will be held at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre over May 16 to 19, will automatically be in the running to take home the loot – sorry, ute.

Organisers say there will also be scanning stations dotted throughout the show, where you can scan your ticket for additional chances to win.

The HiLux is Australia's top-selling ute and the HiLux Rugged X is the flagship of HiLux family. With a potent 2.8-litre four-cylinder turbo-diesel, a dual range transfer case and impressive off-road geometry, this dual-cab ute will shoulder a load through the working week but it's ready to go bush with the family come the weekend.

It's valued at $60,000 – and it could be parked in your garage simply for attending the show!

The 2019 Brisbane Truck Show will be open from 10:00am to 6:00pm on the Thursday, Friday and Saturday, and from 10:00am to 4:00pm on the Sunday. Tickets cost $22 for adults and $17 for concessions for single-day entry, with kids 17 or under in for free.

Two-day passes cost $40 for adults and $28 for concessions.
