Cat launches Facebook promotion

‘Like' Cat Truck's new Facebook page and go in the running to win $500 to spend at one of its All Truck Parts stores
Cat Trucks Australia recently launched its Facebook page, and to give it an extra push along it’s unveiled an accompanying online promotion.
Simply visit www.facebook.com/cattrucksAustralia, click on the promotional link, ‘like’ the page and describe – in 25 words or less – the most extreme driving conditions you’ve ever encountered on Australian roads.
The competition is open until 5pm on Tuesday, March 11.
The best entry will receive a $500 voucher to be spent at any of Cat Trucks’ All Truck Parts stores across Australia. With 34 outlets in the network, chances are there’s one near you.
According to Glen Sharman, Marketing Manager for Cat On-Highway Trucks, the firm has big plans for its Facebook page.
“This is an introductory promotion for our Facebook site but it is also the first of many,” he says.
“In fact, it is just the very first example of our intention to maintain the Cat Trucks Facebook page as a highly engaging and valuable source of facts for industry professionals, as well as an entertaining and educational resource for the families and friends of truck operators.
“Our plan from the outset has been to have something for everyone, making the Cat Trucks Facebook page far more than just another chat forum.”
