CJD assumes PACCAR distribution in NT

With Western Diesel Group now in receivership, PACCAR Australia has appointed CJD Equipment as its authorised NT dealer

PACCAR Australia’s Kenworth and DAF brands will now be represented in the Northern Territory by mining, construction, and road transport dealer chain, CJD Equipment.

The switch comes after the former authorised PACCAR Australia representative in the Northern Territory, Western Diesel Group, was placed into receivership in early April 2014.

In an official press statement PACCAR Australia said its brands were in capable hands in the Northern Territory.

“CJD Equipment has been a long-standing PACCAR Australia dealer, with major dealerships situated throughout Western Australia and Tasmania,” says the statement.

“It has a strong, ongoing commitment to providing excellent service to isolated and rural areas such as Port Hedland, Kalgoorlie and other areas of Western Australia. CJD has extensive experience in servicing the heavy-duty market in Western Australia and is well positioned to service the Northern Territory transport industry.”

In addition to Kenworth and DAF trucks, CJD Equipment will assume responsibility for the distribution of PACCAR Parts and TRP products.

CJD Equipment has two outlets in the Northern Territory: in Darwin and in Alice Springs. The Darwin dealership is located at 1 Toupein Road, Palmerston, while the Alice Springs dealership is located at 8-10 Cameron Street, Alice Springs.
