Crown launches Rental Express

Material handling specialist Crown Equipment has unveiled a new high-speed delivery service for its rental forklifts.

Dubbed Rental Express, the service caters for clients who need rapid delivery of a forklift to keep their business moving.

Paul Kartelo, Crown Equipment's General Manager, Rental Sales, says the service will allow customers to react rapidly to their changing material handling demands.

"Waiting two or three days for the right truck is no longer an option," he says.

"Our customers need the right truck at the right price but, most importantly, they need it right away.

"It's all about delivering the right truck for the task and delivering it quickly to help ensure operations are not negatively impacted."

The Rental Express service offers same-day delivery of a forklift to metro areas if the request is made before 11.00am on business days. If the truck isn't onsite the same day, the first day's rental is free.

"We are that confident of fulfilling needs and have an experienced team online and on the phone to discuss the customer's requirements," says Kartelo.

"We understand our customers and their needs. Rental Express is just another way in which Crown is responding with agility to our customers' changing demands."
