Daimler Trucks dealers lauded

Daimler Trucks Australia recently announced its best-performing outlets at the annual Daimler Trucks Dealer of the Year awards

Daimler Truck’s highest-achieving dealers have been officially recognised at the distributor’s Daimler Trucks Dealer of the Year awards, held recently at a gala ceremony in Melbourne’s inner west.

The annual awards celebrate excellence in Daimler Trucks’ Australian dealer network, with awards handed down to the best-performing metropolitan and regional dealers across the Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Fuso brands.

The prestigious title of 2013 Daimler Trucks Metropolitan Dealer of the Year went to Daimler Trucks Sydney Huntingwood (NSW), where Dealer Principal Gregory Gardiner (pictured, left) and his team offered exceptional customer service across all three brands.

The 2013 Daimler Trucks Regional Dealer of the Year went to Daimler Trucks Sunshine Coast (Qld), rewarding the efforts of Dealer Principal Cameron O’Hara and his dedicated team.

Daimler Trucks Managing Director, Kolja Rebstock (pictured, right), said the awards underlined the efforts of the entire dealer network.

“Our Dealer of the Year awards night is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the achievements of the whole Daimler Trucks dealer network and to acknowledge those dealerships that excelled throughout 2013,” he said.

“The ongoing commitment and professionalism from our dealer network continues to reinforce our brand’s reputation as a leader in customer satisfaction. Last year was highly successful for Daimler Trucks in Australia as we achieved our largest retail sales result on record. This result is a reflection of the dedication shown by our entire team.”

The metro and regional awards for the 2013 Fuso Dealer of the Year went to Whitehorse Truck & Bus (Vic) and Fuso Geelong (Vic) respectively, while the corresponding awards for Mercedes-Benz went to Daimler Trucks Sydney Huntingwood (NSW) and Westco Trucks Toowoomba (Qld). The metro and regional awards for the 2013 Freightliner Dealer of the Year went to Stillwell Trucks (NSW) and Mavin Truck Centre (NSW).
