Dennis Eagle at Waste 21

Dennis Eagle will showcase the low-entry Elite 2 chassis at this week’s Waste 2021 Conference in Coffs Harbour.

Specifically designed for the refuse industry, the Elite 2 6x4 is powered by the Cummins B 6.7 engine with a low-emission Euro 6 rating and fitted with a locally-manufactured refuse collection body.

The Elite 2 offers safety features including a single step entry, true flat floor, tall and wide door openings, and a high vision window and mirror package.

“As recognised by Transport for London with a 5-star direct vision standard (DVS) rating, the Elite 2 chassis sets the benchmark in visibility and safety,” said Shannon Mair, head of fleet at Penske Australia.

“Furthermore, with very low levels of pollutants, and with field trials in Australia concluding fuel savings of over 10 per cent compared to the previous model, the Dennis Eagle is a stand out for its environmentally-friendly credentials and low total cost of ownership.
