Detroit expands support team
Detroit Diesel has added a new executive to its on-highway support armPenske Power Systems Inc has announced it has bolstered its Detroit Diesel team with the appointment of Jonathon Wrightson (pictured) to the position of Product Support Specialist, On-Highway.
Mr Wrightson will assume the role from September 13.
The role will see Wrightson provide support to the entire on-highway group, liaising with key customers and dealers to offer critical technical information. Mr Wrightson brings six years of industry experience to the position, and more recently has been intrinsic in establishing the Penske Power Systems New Zealand facility.
Kevin Dennis, Director On-Highway – Penske Power Systems, said the appointment underlined Detroit's on-going commitment to customer service.
"This appointment confirms Detroit’s recent business strategy, and that is to work to continuously improve our technical support offering to customers," he said.
"What this appointment represents is that Detroit works hard to put the right people in the right places to best service our customers."
