From November 1, 2014, Australian and New Zealand MTU Detroit Diesel customers who use DD13 and DD15 on-highway engines will benefit from an extra swag of warranty extras, in addition to the engines' current EW2 warranty.
Those extras include no up-front costs, paid towing and no deductibles.
Kevin Dennis, Director of MTU Detroit Diesel Australia's On-Highway Business, says the additional coverage adds up to extra peace of mind for DD13 and DD15 customers in both Australia and New Zealand.
"The DD13 and DD15 products have proven to be exceptionally reliable," he says.
"The new warranty is just another way that we deliver Detroit customers with the best service support available on the market today."
MTUDDA says there are currently 3500 DD13 and DD15 engines in use in Australia and 300,000 in operation across the globe, with many racking up in excess of 1.2 million kilometres.
