Detroit to show at Brisbane

'Detroit difference' to feature at the Brisbane Truck Show
Penske Power Systems says that visitors to the Brisbane Truck Show will experience the Detroit difference when the company showcases the DD15 engine platform at the biennial show next week.
The DD15 will be displayed in a cutaway arrangement giving visitors the opportunity to see the internal operation of the engine.
An array of Series 60 and DD15 componentry will also be on display demonstrating the evolution of the company’s engine design.
“The Brisbane Truck Show is an important opportunity to connect with customers and demonstrate the benefits that Detroit can offer owner drivers and fleets,” said Sean McLean, Director On-Highway, Penske Power Systems.
“We know that the evolving Detroit engines offer the best in heavy-duty diesel engine technology yielding exceptional reliability for customers.
“And with 33 per cent longer engine life on average until overhaul is required and no midlife engine change outs, Detroit offers favourably low whole-of-life costs for customers.
“As the Brisbane Truck Show is an important conduit for reaching customers, we will have our on-highway product support team present, as well as Pam Esshaki from Detroit in the USA.”
To learn more about Detroit, visit stand #55 at the show where current Supercars championship leader and DJR Team Penske driver, Fabian Coulthard, will be signing autographs between 2.00 and 3.00pm on Friday 26 May.
