Manheim Australia has confirmed details of the second tranche of Don Watson Transport trucks and trailers going under the hammer next month, following July’s headline-grabbing sale.
The September auction features around 80 prime movers and refrigerated trailers, all meticulously maintained, de-stickered and repainted.
The assets are located across Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Trucks from Kenworth, Mack and Volvo are included, alongside trailers from FTE, Lucar and Vawdrey, with some units as new as 2024-build.
Bidding opens online at 10am on September 12 and closes at 4pm on September 17.
Manheim says it expects strong demand given the calibre of trucks and trailers in the upcoming round, as well as the reputation of Don Watson Transport for keeping its equipment in first-class condition.
Manheim added the July sale attracted record catalogue views and bidding activity as the auction was the result of a high-profile business closure.
The fleet dispersal is part of Manheim Industrial’s broader growth momentum, with the company recently setting a new gross sales record and expanding its advisory and valuations teams to target further opportunities in the insolvency and fleet remarketing space.
