Elite status for Whitehorse Truck Centre

Whitehorse Truck Centre, in the south-eastern Melbourne suburb of Dandenong, recently became the 10th Daimler Trucks dealership to be awarded the brand's Elite Support certification.

Daimler says its Elite Support scheme is a joint initiative from Daimler Truck and Bus and the Daimler Trucks dealer network, with certified Elite Support dealers having demonstrated a level of service and support excellence across a wide range of criteria.

The certification can be applied to any Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner or Fuso dealership that satisfies a total of 129 points of assessment, with a core requirement being the Express Assessment feature.

To qualify, a dealer must ensure that "within two hours of a service write-up, the dealer will communicate primary diagnosis, check parts availability, and provide an estimate of cost and repair time".

Whitehorse Truck Centre's Mark Marshall and Aleisha Malcom played a pivotal role in guiding the dealership through the Elite Support certification process.

"We could not be any prouder of our Elite Support journey and every single employee at Whitehorse Truck Centre," Mr Marshall says.

"The team have put in a massive effort and we would not have made it to this milestone without the support of the whole dealership," says Ms Malcom.

Whitehorse Truck Centre Dealer Principal, Marcus Prato, says the Elite Certification is part of the dealership's continuous focus on improvement.

"We are always looking for ways to further boost the experience of all our valued customers and with Elite Support certification we are taking that experience to the next level," he says.

Whitehorse Truck Centre is located at 65-75 Princes Highway, Dandenong South. The dealership was established over 60 years ago supports the local community, along with various charities and sporting clubs.
