Extinguishing a truck fire at one fell swoop
When your rig is burning in the backblocks of North America, who you gonna call?Experiencing an out-of-control truck fire is bad enough when it strikes while in a town or city – at least a fire engine isn't too far away – but what about when it occurs in the bush, miles from anywhere?
That's what happened to one hapless truckie recently, when his semi-trailer caught fire in a remote part of North America.
The YouTube clip below is light on details but the effectiveness of the fire control technique speaks for itself. Call in the air wing – and stand back!
