Speaking at the handover of the first bus, Crinel Geaboc, head of bus and coach at Penske Australia said: “MAN Truck & Bus and Penske Australia have a long-standing relationship with Surfside Buslines’ sister company SkyBus in Australia and New Zealand, so it’s fantastic to be able to extend our partnership to Surfside Buslines, now part of Kinetic Group.

“Surfside Buslines was looking for a low entry solution that was very reliable, fuel efficient, and high performing with outstanding service intervals, and the LE 19.320 Euro 5 delivers exactly that.

“At 320hp, the Euro 5 engine is powerful yet economical and whisper-quiet making it ideal for highly-populated areas.

“This 4x2 RC2 configuration has a favourably high gross vehicle mass of 19 tonnes and comes with an electronically-controlled air suspension and an electronic braking system.

“We are confident that these buses will be well accepted by the team at Surfside Buslines and members of the public,” Mr Geaboc concluded.
