The Free Cuppa for the Driver scheme will expand to a full 62 venues across NSW from Tuesday, March 1, stretching across the full length of the Newell Highway.
The scheme offers visiting drivers (who have travelled at least 100km) a free cup of tea or coffee in a bid to encourage them to take rest breaks from driving long distances.
"The scheme also covers parts of the Mitchell Highway from Bathurst to Dubbo, Kamilaroi Highway from Narrabri to Wee Waa and Main Road 61 from Orange to Condobolin. Some out of the way locations such as Croppa Creek, Baradine and the Pilliga also have Free Cuppa for the Driver venues.
Drivers can easily access and identify where they can find a free cuppa by downloading the free app or picking up a booklet from Visitor Information Centres, Service Stations and Camping Grounds. Each participating business has a Free Cuppa for the Driver logo on their window or near the entrance.
