Free servicing on new Actros

Buy a new Mercedes-Benz Actros and receive 500,000km of free servicing

Mercedes-Benz has rolled out a promotion to entice buyers for its current-model Actros. Until March 31, Actros buyers will receive free servicing for half a million kilometres or five years, whichever comes first.

The offer applies to Mercedes-Benz's 'Best Basic' service plan, which covers all scheduled servicing for the truck as specified by the maintenance manual or on-board computer.

The servicing is conducted by factory-trained technicians at authorised Mercedes-Benz dealers, and only genuine Mercedes-Benz parts and lubricants are used.

According to Andrew Assimo, Mercedes-Benz Trucks sales manager, the offer delivers significant savings for Actros buyers.

"The Actros is already known for its low operating costs, but we have gone a step further to save our customers even more money," he said.

"We believe that 500,000km or five years of Best Basic service coverage makes the Actros an extremely attractive proposition for smart operators."

The offer comes as Mercedes-Benz prepares for the introduction of its next-generation Actros. Currently being evaluated and developed by Mercedes-Benz Trucks Australia/Pacific, several examples are also being trialed under real-world conditions by Mercedes-Benz customers, ahead of the model's official local introduction towards the end of next year.

The offer applies to all 4x2 and 6x4 Actros models, including the Actros 1844, Actros 2644, Actros 2646, Actros 2655 and Actros 2660.
