Freighter Group has launched a new refrigerated trailer product called Freez-R, designed to deliver industry-leading thermal performance.
Freez-R was unveiled to customers, suppliers and industry representatives during a recent event at the company’s headquarters in Ballart, where it also announced it was rebranding from MaxiTRANS to Freighter Group.
Freez-R is capable of minus 30 degrees Celsius for transporting frozen goods and other temperature-sensitive freight. The body is constructed from Ferroplast technology, which is based on a polyurethane hard foam core that is held in place by durable steel plate surface layers on either side.
In addition, TrailerConnect Pro Telematics is standard on all Freighter Freez-R products – a first for the Freighter Group – which allows drivers and fleet operators to access real time information that assists with freight management, predicative maintenance and servicing.
“We are thrilled to announce a significant milestone for our business with the release of Freez-R to the Australian market,” said Greg L’Estrange, Freighter Group Executive Chairman.
“Through our partnership with Schmitz Cargobull, collaboration with customers and our industry experience, we have been able to design and create a product with the exacting needs for the Australian market.
“It was great to see so many of our customers interested in the telematics technology, which has the most comprehensive trailer information available from any telematics provider in Australia.
“Freighter Group is also committed to delivering total peace of mind for customers when it comes to purchasing any of its products, which is demonstrated by the total commitment to supporting customers for the life of the product.”
