Freightliner has signed on with Brad Jones Racing, with the Australian arm of the American truck brand recently supplying two of its Argosy prime movers to support the V8 Supercars team.
The tie-up also saw the #20 Holden VEII Commodore of Andrew Jones sporting new livery at Round 3 of the Dunlop Development Series, held in Perth over May 16-18, with Freightliner's logos and artwork celebrating its 25th anniversary in Australia displayed prominently.
Brad Jones Racing's Team Principal, Kim Jones, said he was thrilled with the new partnership.
"It’s great to have such an iconic international company support our team,"
he said.
The Senior Manager of Freightliner Trucks Australia, Rod West, said the arrangement was already provoking plenty of feedback.
"Freightliner’s partnership with Brad Jones Racing is new but already we have received strong engagement from our dealer network and customers," he said.
"Our partnership was highly visible at the Perth round where Team Freightliner
appeared in the Dunlop Series."
