•15 Dec 2025Back in 2021, FWR set out to build something different. The goal was to develop a versatile, heavy-duty trailer that could handle a wide range of jobs – without pushing operators beyond their budgets. The result was the Super Tilt. And while demand came quickly, production remained limited in the early years.
That all changed in 2024.
With the opening of a 12,000sqm manufacturing facility in Larapinta, FWR finally had the space, tools and resources to take the Super Tilt to the next level. What started as a complex, low-volume build is now a flagship product for the brand – and it’s taking off fast.

Development of the Super Tilt has never happened in isolation. From the beginning, the FWR team worked side by side with long-time operators, fleet customers and machinery movers to understand how the trailer could do more.
Lower tilt angles, greater lift capacity, additional winch rollers, and a broader range of axles and suspensions are just some of the upgrades introduced based on real-world feedback. Unlike many competitors, FWR includes most of these as standard or simple options.
“What some call ‘custom’, we treat as expected. We’re focused on building the best-value Super Tilt on the market - using premium components, listening to what operators actually want, and delivering it at a price well below what they’ve been forced to pay for years,” says FWR Director Arron MacCue.

This isn’t a trailer built to sit on the sidelines. The Super Tilt is designed to replace multiple purpose-built trailers in a single fleet – offering serious versatility, rugged durability and a high-spec platform that can do the work of many.
From chassis design to hydraulics, it’s all engineered for performance. The Super Tilt is easier to load, more flexible on the job and tough enough to handle long hours and heavy loads. And it’s all backed by FWR’s local build quality and commitment to value.

As word spreads, more of Australia’s major players are making the switch. Over the past year, respected names like Mactrans, Bowers Heavy Haulage, KWT, Ventia and Corbets have all added Super Tilt units to their fleets – with multiple national contracts already secured through 2026.
“For us, that’s the strongest signal we’re on the right track,” says MacCue. “When some of the country’s top operators are putting our trailers behind their trucks, it tells us the product is doing exactly what we designed it to do.”
With production now in full swing at Larapinta, the Super Tilt is quickly becoming one of FWR’s most in-demand builds. Month by month, output continues to grow – and the momentum isn’t slowing down.
From moving access equipment and civil machinery to plant hire gear and everything in between, the Super Tilt is built for the real world. Tough, versatile and proudly Australian-made, it delivers the performance of a premium trailer without the price tag to match.
From its first prototype to its current evolution, the Super Tilt has come a long way – and according to FWR, the best is still to come.
