Australian trailer manufacturer Graham Lusty Trailers says it will showcase a low-tare-chassis tipper pocket road train set at the upcoming Perth Truck & Trailer Show, which will be held at the Perth Convention & Exhibition Centre over July 24 to 26.
The company says its light but strong trailers give road transport operators a competitive edge, with high productivity a key focus for its locally made products.
"Since October 2014 we have sold multiple sets of pocket road trains to large fleet operators based in WA," says Graham Lusty Trailers Operations Manager, James Yerbury, who adds that the example on show in Perth will boast a new – presently undisclosed – feature.
"The set we are bringing to the show will have a special feature which is new in our options line up," he says.
Each GLT pocket road train set is manufactured at either of the company's two manufacturing facilities, located in Melbourne and Brisbane. A number of delivery options are available to WA-based customers, including via sea freight to Perth.
The company says each set boasts a tare weight of just 15.5 tonnes in lightweight spec, along with a capacity of 100 cubic metres.
Company owner Graham Lusty says he's eager to meet customers both present and future at the event.
"I'm looking forward to meeting face to face with Western Australian operators at the Perth show," he says.
"Operators will be impressed with not only the tare weight and quality of our aluminium-body products but also the range of trailers we can build."
The Graham Lusty Trailers display can be found at stand 39 at the 2015 Perth Truck & Trailer Show.
