The shock announcement in July that the National Road Transport Museum was in administration caused concern that the internationally renowned Truckies’ Reunion might not go ahead.
Happily, a new management team is in place, sponsors have confirmed their ongoing commitment to the National Road Transport Museum and the August Reunion is on schedule.
For the 19th consecutive year, Shell Rimula has partnered with the National Road Transport Hall of Fame, acknowledging and celebrating the achievements of the road transport community across Australia.

To be held over two days in the Road Transport Hall of Fame Museum and at other venues in Alice Springs, the National Road Transport Hall of Fame Reunion will recognise and celebrate more than 50 of the country’s trucking heroes for their lifelong commitment to the road transport community in Australia.
Nick Lubransky, Marketing Manager Transport Lubricants, Viva Energy Australia said: “Australia’s trucking community is such a vital part of this country, and here at Viva Energy we’re proud of our ongoing support of the road transport community and partnership with the Shell Rimula Hall of Fame.”

An annual highlight of Australia’s trucking calendar, the Shell Rimula National Road Transport Hall of Fame Reunion brings together drivers from across the country, for a weekend of recognition and celebration.
“This weekend is a highlight for both the trucking and Alice Springs communities, and we’re thrilled once again to support this year’s Reunion and provide the trucking community with a fantastic weekend of events and appropriately celebrate this year’s inductees”, said Mr Lubransky.
