Heavy Equipment and Machinery Show back in 2025

The fourth instalment as it continues to be held alongside the Brisbane Truck Show

Tickets are on sale for the 2025 Heavy Equipment and Machinery Show (HEMS), which will be held alongside the Brisbane Truck Show from May 15 to 17 at the city’s showgrounds.

Ticketing options range from single-day entry ($25 for adults, $20 for concession card holders) to multi-day passes valid for all three days ($60 for adults, $50 for concession card holders).

The organiser, Civil Contractors Federation Queensland (CCF QLD) expects the fourth instalment of HEMS will be the biggest yet after drawing a record crowd in 2023.

The show has become one of the nation’s largest displays of all things earthmoving, offering something for everyone – from diggers to dozers, and of course plenty of giveaways.

“We have been holding this event, originally called the Civil Construction Field Days, since 2019 and we are thrilled with the growth of this event in such a short time,” said CCF QLD CEO, Damian Long.

“The 2023 event really cemented the show’s popularity with a massive 5500 people coming to check out the latest and greatest from the heavy equipment and machinery world.

“Many truck operators also own machinery, so it’s an incredible opportunity to host HEMS alongside the Brisbane Truck Show – the two go hand in hand.”

In 2025, HEMS will have 101 exhibitor sites across, primarily tailored to the business-to-business market but also plenty for everyone to see and experience.

Students and those wanting to join the industry are also encouraged to attend and learn more about the various employment pathways for the Queensland civil construction industry.
