At a recent ceremony in Sydney, Hino Motor Sales Australia recognised its best performing dealerships from 2016.
For the second consecutive year, the title of Metropolitan Dealer of the Year was won by Melbourne’s Prestige Hino while Newcastle Hino took out the Regional Dealer of the Year for the third time in four years.
For the first time a Customer Satisfaction award was introduced with CMI Hino Adelaide, Vanderfield Hino Toowoomba and Barry Maney Hino Mt Gambier being named the inaugural winners.
Prestige Hino Dealer Principal Angelo Valerio (pictured on left) was enthusiastic in his praise of his team.

Newcastle Hino Dealer Principal Kevin Purcell (pictured on right) was delighted with winning the Regional Dealer of the Year award.
“Over the last few years we have focused on improving every aspect of our dealership - to win this award underlines the dedication and talent of the Newcastle Hino team and the loyalty of our customers.”
CMI Hino Melbourne was also recognised for its 25 years of service to the Hino brand, an achievement that makes it one of the longest serving Hino dealerships in Australia.
For Hino Motor Sales Australia Chairman and CEO Steve Lotter, it was a night to celebrate and reflect on the success of 2016.
“Despite challenges in 2016, our dealers continued to demonstrate their commitment to customers and the Hino brand – we are confident that 2017 will be another exciting and rewarding year for Hino dealers.”
The evening was hosted by television personality Tim Webster and attended by Ichiro Hisada, Senior Managing Officer in charge of overseas operations from Hino Motors, Limited and 250 guests from Hino dealerships from across Australia.
