Hino rolls out Traq telematics

Hino Australia says its new Hino Traq telematics offers operators and drivers a wealth of benefits
Hino Australia has added its new Hino Traq telematics system to its growing suite of Hino Advantage business solutions.
Hino Traq provides real-time vehicle tracking and operational information to drivers and fleet owners through an online portal.
The Hino Traq system also offers real-time reporting on driver and vehicle performance, fuel usage, driver safety and whole-of-fleet performance monitoring.
Hino Australia Product Strategy Manager Daniel Petrovski said the system will prove a valuable tool for modern businesses.
"It is crucial to provide support for businesses in the future and our aim is to provide our customers with range of business-building benefits that will save them money and worry," Mr Petrovski said.
"Partnering with businesses to translate this valuable information into real-world analytics will assist in finding efficiencies within their operations." 
Hino Traq provides a range of features including fuel consumption and truck performance monitoring, over revving and harsh breaking reports, truck location, geo-fencing and a driver alert button assist.
Designed for Hino trucks and buses as an OEM accessory, the unit has been locally developed over two years specifically for the Australian market.
The Hino Traq system is available to order now and is covered by a three-year, unlimited kilometre accessories warranty when fitted by an authorised Hino dealer. 
The Hino Traq system has an RRP of $2745, including installation, with a one-year data subscription package. Data subscription can be extended at the time of purchase.
The system can be fitted to both new and older Hino trucks.
