Hot new Iveco Stralis going fast…
Racy limited-edition Stralis AS-L celebrates V8 Supercars link and comes packed with extrasIveco Australia is celebrating its on-going partnership with Triple Eight Race Engineering with a limited run of 560hp Stralis AS-L prime movers, with each of the powerhouses bristling with added extras.
Designed and built in Melbourne using 55 per cent local componentry, the Stralis AS-L is the official team transporter of Triple Eight's TeamVortex and Red Bull Racing Australia outfits.
Each limited-edition unit is being offered with a host of value-added extras, including: $5000 per month (including GST) operating lease; five-year or 1,000,000km Iveco new vehicle warranty; five-year or 1,000,000km Iveco engine warranty; five-year or 1,000,000km of free scheduled servicing; a $5000 TeamVortex fuel card; and a $5000 (including GST) rebate on the first monthly lease payment, while each truck also comes with the promise of a five-week build date.
Customers who purchase prior to the five-week build date start will also be offered an Iveco factory tour to see their completed vehicle leave the production line.
Other limited-edition Stralis AS-L extras include:
>> Custom Red Bull Racing Australia/TeamVortex livery
>> A polished alloy front bumper bar, roof foil and side wings
>> Leather driver and passenger seats
>> A certificate and plaque featuring the truck's build number, signed by either Craig Lowndes, Jamie Whincup or Shave Van Gisbergen
>> A TeamVortex jacket and cap
>> 12 months' supply of Red Bull energy drinks
The limited-edition trucks are powered by Iveco's new Cursor 13 Series II engine, rated at 560hp and with 2300Nm of torque. The power is delivered via Iveco's EuroTronic II 16-speed automated manual transmission.
Other standard features include a Jost fixed turntable, antilock brakes, UHF radio, Viesa air evaporative system, polished fuel tanks and chrome kit, disc brakes all round, traction control and rear airbag suspension.
