Hyundai has announced an expanded and upgraded model line-up for the popular iLoad commercial van and iMax people mover.
A refreshed family look introduces modern styling enhancements to the range, while new comfort and luxury features are available for the first time in the newly introduced iMax Elite model.
Refreshed exterior design
The front of the 2019 iLoad and iMax receives the biggest change in the model’s lifecycle, featuring a flowing black bar grille with a chrome lip surround tying into the new headlight design and surrounding. The bold new grille design is further enhanced on the iMax Elite with chrome bar inserts. While a newly designed front bumper incorporates fog lamps on the iMax.
New convenience features
For the first time the iLoad and iMax range offers a two-dimensional steering column enabling drivers to adjust the steering wheel’s position in both height and depth. The range also receives a new instrument cluster design with trip computer, updated seven-inch touch screen multimedia system and refreshed cloth interior.
The newly introduced iMax Elite brings luxury features such as beige leather appointed interior, dual sunroofs and heated front seats (also ventilated on the driver’s seat) to the range for the first time.
Combined with new styling enhancements, Hyundai says the iMax line-up has been restructured to offer more choice, more luxury, and more value. The Active model represents the best value iMax ever, while luxury items are now being offered for the first time with the new Elite model. iMax is now exclusively available with an automatic transmission as standard.
For 2019 iLoad also receives a host of styling and feature upgrades, while maintaining the current body style and drivetrain availability.
The 2019 iLoad range upgrades include:
>> New grille design with chrome lip surround
>> Automatic dusk sensing headlamps
>> Tilt & telescopic steering column
>> New design instrument cluster with trip computer
>> Updated seven-inch touch screen multimedia system
The new iLoad is priced from $38,790 for the six-speed manual and $41,790 for the five-speed automatic. Both are available with either a lift rear door or twin hinged doors. The iLoad can also be ordered as a crew van.
