Czech off-road bus manufacturer Torsus is poised to release its latest model, the Torsus Terrastorm, which promises to take 4WD people movers into new territory – literally!

From the same company that brought us the Torsus Praetorian 4x4, the Torsus Terrastorm is set to go on sale in the third quarter of 2020, with full details to be revealed at the model's official launch in late July.
Torsus says the Terrastorm is "engineered to be the world's most capable 4x4 minibus", able to carry up to 21 passengers across rugged terrain. While the zombie apocalypse isn't here just yet, think mining operations, oil and gas exploration, power and utility maintenance, emergency services and off-road tourism…

While full details and specifications will be announced shortly, Torsus says the Terrastorm is based on a Volkwagen Crafter 4MOTION/MAN TGE platform, with uprated heavy-duty off-road suspension and a Euro 6 engine.
A selection of teaser shots from Torsus reveal the Terrastorm also comes equipped with a bullbar with winch, all-terrain tyres, and off-road safety restraints.
