Isuzu appoints new National Sales Manager

Movement at the top for market leader
Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) has announced the appointment of Mr Les Spaltman (pictured on left) as its new National Sales Manager.
Les joined IAL in February 2011 as Dealer Sales Manager for New South Wales, bringing with him with over 25 year’s automotive experience.
In April 2013, he re-located from Sydney to Melbourne to take-up the position of National Fleet Sales Manager at IAL’s Melbourne head office, where he has been leading the fleet team across a number of high-profile accounts.
Mr Spaltman will be replacing Andrew Harbison (pictured on right), who served in the role for three years before being appointed Director, Sales and Marketing this month.
IAL Director and COO, Phil Taylor, says Les has more than proven himself in his previous position, and will play a pivotal role as the company looks to the future.
"2016 is Isuzu’s 100th year of operation in Japan, and it’s fitting we’re looking to the future and making changes here at IAL to ensure we’re on a solid footing for the next phase of activity," Mr Taylor said.
"Les has been a steadfast and reliable part of the team since he joined five years ago and has proved time and again his dedication to the brand and importantly, our customers."
Les Spaltman said the new role is an exciting next step and he looks forward to hitting the ground running.
"I’m looking forward to new challenges within the company and building even more successful relationships with our loyal customers.
"The hard work and passion of everyone at IAL – to provide the best care and solution for all our customers – is what makes this such an exciting organisation to work in," Mr Spaltman said.
"My main focus will be continuing to provide the best experience possible, across the board, for all our customers, be they owner-drivers with one truck or national fleets with hundreds.
"I’m delighted to be appointed to this position, and look forward to furthering the good work that Andrew Harbison carried out in the role."
