Isuzu gears up for ITTES

Isuzu Australia Limited is preparing for a major show of force at Melbourne's 2014 International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show
Potential Isuzu truck buyers will be spoiled for choice at the looming 2014 International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show, with the manufacturer announcing its stand at the Melbourne event will feature no fewer than 15 truck models.
Isuzu will be showcasing vehicles spanning the light-duty, medium-duty and heavy-duty weight classes, with trucks from its N, F, FX, FY and Giga Series on display.
Particular points of interest will include the new Limited Edition F Series truck with ‘high horsepower’ engine, Allison automatic transmission, Alcoa alloy wheels and Hendrickson airbag rear suspension, among other upgrades, along with an agitator-based 8x4 FY Series truck.
Two low-emission CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) models will also be on show: the NLR 200 CNG and FSR 850 CNG.
In stark contrast to IAL’s recently restored and low-tech 1979 SBR 422, which will be making its public ‘post-resto’ debut at the ITTES, the firm will also be launching its new ‘Connect’ and ‘Connect Plus’ telematics technology.
The 2014 International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show will be held at Melbourne’s Royal Showgrounds over April 3-6. Visit www.trucktrailershow.com.au for more information.
