In Melbourne’s expanding Western suburbs, there’s no shortage of demand for a talented landscape gardener.
This was the idea when Justin Zammit founded Zammit Landscaping and Construction in 2011. Six years later his business is booming.
“We tackle every landscaping service there is – turf installation, excavation, landscaping construction, decking, retaining walls, fencing – you name it,” Justin said.
Justin’s certainly takes pride in his work, but he’s also proud of his new truck – an Isuzu NPR 65-190 Tipper.
“I love the Isuzu – as soon as I got it I installed roof-racks, a flashing light assembly and a reversing camera,” Justin said.
Growing a young business requires a capable, trustworthy work vehicle and the NPR 65-190’s GVM of 6500kg offers the bulk Zammit requires. Meanwhile, a factory-fitted body covered by Isuzu warranty means it can be driven straight from the dealership to the worksite.
“During the day I can pick up all my own materials – the rocks, sand and soil,” Justin said. “That’s why I chose the NPR Tipper – it deals with everything I can throw at it, literally.”
“It’s my first truck, so I did a huge amount of research and found all the reviews were raving about the Isuzu.”
Isuzu matches beauty with brawn, and with 140kW of power at 2600rpm and 513Nm of torque at 1600 – 2600rpm, an average utility can’t get close to the NPR’s grunt.
“Everyone told me they’re the most reliable trucks, with the best drivelines, engines and gearboxes, and that’s definitely been the case.
“The NPR handles quarries, highways, narrow streets and ramps with ease – I’ve never had a problem with it,” Justin said.
