Isuzu says it's tops for tippers

Japanese brand's expanded range has tippers for just about every applications, says Isuzu Australia Limited…

Isuzu says spring is a top time to step into a new tipper, with the company now boasting an expanded line-up of models and "significant price reductions" across the brand's Ready-To-Work Tipper range.

Taking GVM and transmission variants into account, Isuzu now has 15 models in its tipper lineup – including the new NLR 55/45-150 Tri-Tipper, with three-way Shinmaywa tipping body.

With a 2.0-cubic-metre capacity, this innovative truck can be rated at a car-licence-friendly 4500kg, or 5500kg for extra payload for those with a minimum of a Light Rigid truck licence.

Isuzu's tipper range spans engines from the 110kW/375Nm 4JJ1-TCS to the 154kW/725Nm 4HK1-TCS, mated to either a traditional or automated-manual transmission.

Isuzu's NSL Tipper brings with it the benefits of an on-demand all-wheel drive system, while for bigger loads there's Isuzu's NQR 87/80-190 AMT Tipper, which has a GVM of 8000 or 8700kg.

At the upper end of the range, Isuzu's FRR Tipper boasts a 3.8-cubic-metre body and a GVM of 10,700kg.

Isuzu says its tippers come with a comprehensive array of safety gear, including antilock brakes, stability control, traction control and hill start assist, while each model is covered by a three-year factory warranty with roadside assistance.
