Adelaide-based specialist cladding business, Trimad, has recently purchased two Isuzu NPR 200 Tradepacks, which have since been customised to meet the business’ needs.
The two trucks are kitted out with the same equipment and are used to carry large signs, scaffolding, tools, digging gear, a battery charger, a generator and water tank. Storage compartments have also been added under the trays.
“We had seen other Tradepacks on the road and they caught our eye,” said Scott Taylor, a co-owner of Trimad. “We liked the wide cab and big mirrors and doors that Isuzu offered, and thought the Tradepack had a great setup.
“We also liked that the Tradepack came with bars. We use the bars to carry 6.5-metre lengths of material. We have a lot of gear to carry in our vehicle and we didn’t want to use a trailer.
“The Tradepacks serve a variety of purposes for us and are good workhorses.”
Trimad was founded by Taylor in 2006. Steve Baldwin joined him as a business partner soon, which has allowed the company to take on larger and more complex cladding projects.
