Isuzu updates sales software

Isuzu Australia Limited says its new Isuzu Sales Information System 8.0 takes the customer sales process to a new level of efficiency and convenience

Isuzu has released the latest version of its sales information software. Dubbed 'ISIS' (Isuzu Sales Information System – Isuzu says it had the acronym long before Islamic State!), the software enables Isuzu truck dealers to help customers specify a fit-for-application vehicle to meet their exacting needs.

The latest version of  the software – ISIS 8.0 – includes optimised functionality for the next generation of touchscreen tablets and laptops, with 'cloud' storage of quotes that can be accessed by Isuzu sales consultants on compatible devices at a later date.

Isuzu Australia Limited (IAL) Chief Engineer, Product Strategy Simon Humphries (pictured), said ISIS 8.0 utilises smart technology to provide customers with a comprehensive electronic report on a prospective truck's performance and characteristics.

"The best Isuzu truck you can buy is always going to be the one that is best suited to your needs, and that is exactly what ISIS enables you to do," he said.

The updated ISIS boasts enriched vehicle graphics and content updates including the new 2015 N Series models, while Isuzu Australia Limited says the ability for it to view quotes will help it to tailor its on-going product strategy to best meet the market's needs.
