IUA's 2014 tally equated with sales growth of 63.3 per cent compared to the previous year, the addition of the MU-X seven-seater and a five-star ANCAP rating and boosted 3500kg towing capacity rolled out across all 4x4 D-MAX models adding extra impetus.
The distributor recently sold its 50,000th vehicle since it entered the Australian market in 2008, while its national dealer network now number in excess of 100 outlets.
The Managing Director and CEO of Isuzu Ute Australia, Yasuhiro Takeuchi, recently thanked the firm's dealerships for their sustained efforts.
"I am extremely happy with the rapid growth our franchise has achieved and would like to thank our dealers and their staff for their continued commitment to ensuring our customers receive the very best service so the brand enjoys the success it deserves," he said.
"It was only a couple of years ago we were celebrating the sale of our 10,000th vehicle, so to be realising 50,000 units so quickly is a testament to both the strength of our products and the satisfaction of our customers.
"We have some very exciting plans afoot to ensure our growth is not only sustainable, but increased in 2015 and beyond."
