ITTES announces 2014 Expo Awards

The organiser of the recent 2014 International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show has announced the top exhibitors of this year's event

The dust has settled on the 2014 International Truck, Trailer & Equipment Show (April 3-6), with the show organiser recently announcing its Expo Awards for the best displays.

The organiser says the Expo Awards are determined by a panel of independent judges and assessed in terms of a display’s innovation, its use of space, delivery of product knowledge, quality of staff presentation, and approach to customer service, among other factors.

The Expo Awards for the 2014 ITTES are as follows:

Truck of the Show: Isuzu FYJ 2000 8x4
Outstanding Truck Manufacturer Display: Daimler Trucks
Outstanding Ancillary Equipment Display: Dana Australia
Outstanding Trailer/Body Manufacturer Display: Joint winners – CIMC Australia and Byford Equipment
Outstanding Customer Service Award: PACCAR Australia
Most Unique Show Attraction: Combilift Australia
Best New Product Release: Alcoa Wheel Products – Ultra ONE wheel

The organiser says initial feedback indicates crowd numbers were up for this year’s ITTES, which for the first time saw a fourth day added to the schedule to help expand the trade show’s focus to the general public and industry members’ families.

A confirmed crowd attendance will be announced in coming weeks.
