For the first time in their history, Iveco's latest awards were divided into regional and metropolitan dealership categories, allowing outlets to more fairly compete with similarly-sized dealerships. Iveco awarded points based on a dealership’s performance across sales, service and parts departments, dealership staff participation in training initiatives and feedback from customer care programs. The awards were presented to Adelaide Iveco Dealer Principal, Joe Emanuele and Thomas Bros Truck and Bus General Manager, Baden Bowman by CNH Industrial Executive Managing Director – Australia and New Zealand, Ray Osgood, who congratulated both dealer groups on their excellent performance throughout 2015.
In accepting the regional award, Baden Bowman said that Thomas Bros Truck and Bus had undergone a restructure over the last two years and that it was pleasing to receive the positive recognition. "In recent years we've been focused on taking the dealership to the next level, to offer our customers in the Wagga Wagga region with consistently high levels of service and support," Mr Bowman said.
"Receiving the award has been a team effort and the judges have obviously recognised all the efforts we've made. We're honoured to have won the award and are looking forward to a very positive 2016 with the Iveco brand."
Mr Emanuele said that receiving the coveted metropolitan award was recognition of Adelaide Iveco's commitment to its customers.
"A lot of credit needs to be given to all our great staff across all dealership departments," Mr Emanuele said.
"We have a philosophy of constant improvement at our dealership and it's resulted in a very professional culture amongst our team.
"I'd also like to thank our loyal customer base who have supported us over the years, and give them an undertaking that we'll continue to work hard and do the best to meet their transportation needs into the future."
