Iveco announces Limited Edition Daily

Great value light truck includes tray, bar and even a tool kit
Iveco has announced a limited-edition Daily that includes a heavy-duty, Australian-made aluminium tray body, tow bar package, nudge bar, bonnet protector and floor mats.
As an added bonus, the Limited Edition Daily models are backed by a five-year/200,000 kilometre extended warranty and come with five years of free scheduled servicing, while a complimentary 36-piece GearWrench socket set valued at $349 is also thrown in.
The locally-built tray has dimensions of 4050mm long by 2057mm wide with removable drop sides and tailgate courtesy of quick-lock hinges, to make the most of the 45C17’s 4495kg GVM.
Other benefits of the tray include a window protector and tube headboard, internal load restraint points, front corner step and sturdy rope/strap rails.
Buyers who want to further tailor the tray to suit their application can choose from a range of accessories at extra cost, these include ladder racks, a variety of toolbox options and even a soap and water dispenser.
The truck is powered by  Iveco’s 3.0 litre turbo-diesel engine producing 170hp and 430Nm mated to the Hi-Matic eight-speed full automatic transmission.
On the safety front are driver, passenger and dual curtain airbags, front and rear disc brakes with ABS, electronic brakeforce distribution, electronic stability program, anti-slip regulator, hill holder and daytime running lights.
Behind the wheel of the Daily, the driver is treated to an ISRI air suspension seat with arm rest, while the two front seat passengers receive a body contoured bench seat with headrests.
Further aiding the driving experience is automatic climate control, cruise control and the IVECONNECT multimedia system with GPS that can be operated through steering wheel-mounted controls. For additional cost, IVECONNECT can also be equipped with a reversing camera with camera positioning decided by the customer to best suit the intended application – if a camera is not required, a reversing buzzer comes standard.
Iveco Australia Marketing Manager, Darren Swenson, said the Limited Edition Daily was a value-packed proposition for buyers.
“For a comparable price to a dual cab 4x4, the Limited Edition Daily can also be driven on a car licence and provides the same car-like driving experience, safety features and convenience while also delivering a far superior payload thanks to a 4495kg GVM and a braked towing capacity of 3500kg,” Mr Swenson said.
Iveco says that only 100 of the new Limited Edition Dailys will be available from Iveco dealers nation-wide for a recommended retail price of $57,950 (inc GST but excluding vehicle on-road costs).
