Iveco announces top dealers
Iveco Australia has awarded its best dealers at a recent gala dinner in Sydney, held in conjunction with the company’s annual Dealer ConferenceDivided into regional and metropolitan award categories, the latest recipients took the honours in a competitive field of high quality nominees.
After being shortlisted at the last awards, this year’s winner of the Dealer of the Year – Metropolitan was Adtrans Truck Centre in Melbourne, and taking out the Dealer of the Year – Regional accolade was Nowra Truck and Tractor.
Iveco said it allocated points based on a dealership’s performance across several areas including sales, service and parts departments, dealership staff participation in training initiatives and feedback from customer care programs.
To recognise the growing importance of the Daily range to the product line-up, 2018 saw the introduction of a Dealer of the Year Award exclusively for specialist Daily dealers. This accolade was won by Perth Iveco Centre.
The awards were presented by senior CNH Industrial and Iveco managers, including CNH Industrial CEO – Australia and New Zealand, Michele Lombardi, who thanked the dealers for their dedication to the Iveco brand and its customers.
This year also saw extended awards categories to recognise Parts and Service Dealerships along with individual service excellence accolades. Iveco’s in-house financier CNH Industrial Capital was also involved awarding its highest performing retail finance Dealership.
Special visitor at the Awards Dinner was Red Bull Holden Racing Team driver Jamie Whincup and Autobarn Lowndes Racing’s Craig Lowndes. Both teams’ car transporters are hauled by Iveco Stralis AS-L prime movers.
Rounding out the sporting identities in attendance were the drivers Chaz Mostert and Richie Stanaway representing Tickford Racing and Daryl Beattie, former 500cc Motorcycle racer and Iveco off-road ambassador.

Highest Performing Retail Finance Dealership: Van World
Service Excellence Awards: Danny Downs (Black Truck Sales) and Patrick Schinella (Sydney Truck and Machinery).
