IVECO Australia has added to its range of Daily minibus models, with the firm pulling the covers off a new 22-seater.
Available in 'Shuttle' trim with a 4100mm wheelbase and an H2 roof height (1820mm standing height), the 22-seat IVECO Daily minibus has a 6.1-tonne GVM.
Fabric passenger seats are complemented by integrated safety belts, pleated curtains, modesty panels with handrails and an overhead luggage rack, the latter with integrated air-con vents.

The model is powered by IVECO's 'F1C' four-cylinder turbo-diesel (180hp/430Nm), with the urge fed to the rear wheels via a Hi-Matic eight-speed fully automatic transmission.
The engine meets Euro 6 standards for emissions compliance thanks to its combination of a diesel oxidation catalyst (DOC) and a diesel particulate filter (DPF).
The minibus also features a driver airbag, front and rear discs with ABS, and IVECO's 'ESP9' stability control, the latter packaging features like brake force distribution, traction control, adaptive load control, trailer sway control, rollover mitigation and a hill holder, among others.
The model also has lane departure warning as standard.
Other notable features include independent suspension front (torsion bar) and rear (electronic airbag), a heated driver's suspension seat, IVECO's Iveconnect multimedia system (including GPS and reversing camera functions), and an electric bus plug door that provides easier passenger access while providing additional seating courtesy of the swing-out configuration.
According to IVECO National Sales Manager, Steve Heanes, the Daily minibus range brings with it many benefits.
"The combination of full automatic transmission, extensive safety equipment, an efficient Euro 6 engine plus high comfort levels make the Daily minibus range an attractive proposition across a variety of industries such as charter services, airport shuttle work, for hotels, aged car facilities, schools and the like," he said.
"The Daily minibus is the only entrant in the market to offer rear airbag suspension to deliver a more supple and refined ride. The Daily's semi-forward front axle also leads to a more comfortable drive as the operator isn't sitting atop the wheels and feeling every bump in the road.
"A full automatic eight-speed transmission is another benefit of the Daily, providing instant throttle response and a more relaxed driving experience compared to competitors' AMT and manual offerings."
Engine service intervals are pegged at every 40,000km or two years, whichever comes first, while the automatic transmission has a service interval of 200,000km.
"By adding a 22-seat option to the range, IVECO is now in a great position to better compete in the 12- to 24-seat minibus segment, an area that we've identified as having considerable growth potential," said Mr Heanes.
"An additional 'Executive 22' model is also under consideration for later in 2021."
The Daily minibus range is available through selected IVECO dealerships nationwide.
