IVECO dealer network expands

Canberra IVECO bolsters the brand’s footprint in the national capital

IVECO truck and van owners in the nation’s capital and surrounds will now benefit from a local IVECO dealership, following the recent opening of Canberra IVECO.

Large footprint

Situated on a sprawling 200,000-square-metre footprint on Wollongong Street in Fyshwick, the new outlet now offers backup and support for the full IVECO range, from car-licence-friendly Daily vans all the way up to B-Double-capable prime movers.

The facility features a 200-square-metre indoor showroom, a five-bay workshop fully equipped with IVECO diagnostics equipment, a dedicated wash bay and a large 4000-square-metre parts warehouse. There’s also ample customer parking and amenities including a customer lounge.

Commercial vehicle expertise

Dealer Principal, Mirko Milic (pictured), who has worked in the automotive and commercial vehicle industries for over 25 years, said he’s thrilled to bring the IVECO Daily, Eurocargo, ACCO and S-Way ranges to the region, as well IVECO’s off-road products including T-Way.

“The IVECO product line-up is comprehensive and offers a range of features and specification choices that will attract user types across a range of applications,” he said.

“We believe their combination of advanced safety features, strong emission performance and low total cost of ownership will be well received across our local market.”

Local strength

IVECO ANZ Managing Director, Glen Dyer, welcomed Canberra IVECO to the dealer network.

“Mirko leads an experienced and dedicated team at Canberra IVECO; this is fantastic for existing IVECO owners along with newer customers who are increasingly realising the many qualities of the brand,” he said.

“The ACT is an important market for IVECO, especially as a centre of government, so to have Canberra IVECO on board to provide the full suite of IVECO services creates greater opportunities for us. It also complements our existing parts and service dealership, Express Truck Service, in Queanbeyan.”

The arrival of Canberra IVECO brings the total number of IVECO outlets to 59 Australia-wide, including service and parts sites.
